Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Local Brothers Garage Doors website and to any garage door service you request through it. By using this website or requesting service, you agree to these terms.

Service requests and estimates

Submitting a form on this website is a request for service, not a binding contract. We confirm scope, pricing and scheduling with you directly before any work begins. Estimates are based on the information you provide and may change once a technician inspects the door in person.

Pricing and fees

Garage door work varies by the parts, hardware and labor a specific door needs, so we do not publish flat prices for repairs. Because every job is quoted after we see the door, we cannot list a single price that would be accurate for every home. Once a technician has inspected the door, we provide a written quote before starting work.

The price we quote is all-inclusive. It covers parts, labor and any applicable service or trip fees, and we do not add hidden charges or surcharges after the fact. Any change to the quoted price is discussed and approved by you before we continue. Sales tax is applied where required by law. We do not currently run coupons, discounts or flat-rate promotional offers on this website; if we advertise a specific offer in the future, its inclusions, exclusions and expiration will be stated with the offer.

Workmanship warranty, guarantees, and how to file a claim

We stand behind our work with a workmanship warranty. Coverage begins on the date of service and the exact length and scope are stated in writing on your invoice, because they depend on the service performed and the parts installed. Manufacturer warranties on parts and openers are passed through to you where applicable and are governed by the manufacturer's own terms.

What is covered: defects in the workmanship of the specific repair or installation we performed, under normal residential use, for the period stated on your invoice.

Conditions: the warranty applies to the original customer at the service address, is valid only when the invoice has been paid in full, and requires that the door and opener be used normally and maintained as recommended.

Exclusions: the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear; damage from misuse, accident, weather, power surges, vehicle impact, forced entry or attempted operation of a door that is off its track; parts, hardware or openers we did not supply or install; work altered or serviced by anyone other than us; or cosmetic wear that does not affect operation. Manufacturer-supplied parts are covered only by the manufacturer's warranty, not ours.

How to file a claim: contact us by phone at (714) 455-3837 or by email at localbrothersgaragedoor@gmail.com with your name, service address, invoice date and a description of the issue. Keep your invoice, as it confirms the work performed and the coverage period. We will arrange to inspect the door and, if the issue is covered, correct it at no additional charge for the covered workmanship.
